How to
Convert Video to iPod Video Format
So you've got video you've
downloaded from the Internet or uploaded from your video
camera that you'd like to transfer to your new Video
iPod but you're asking "how the heck do I convert the
video to iPod's MP4 format?"
This is a common question
that people across the world have. Many Internet videos
and video camera files are in a format like .avi, .mpg,
.wmv or some other video format. To play on your video
iPod, they need to be converted to MP4 format. Below is
a quick tutorial for converting these files (and others)
to MP4 format.
A really simple way to do it
is to use a program like
Cucusoft's iPod Video Converter.
Step #1 --
Open Up Cucusoft iPod Video Converter
(Download a free trial
here)
Step
#2: -- Select the button "Open file" to open the files
you want to convert.
Step
#3 -- Click the button "Output" to set the output
folders.
Step
#4 -- Click the "Convert" button to start the
converting.
Congratulations!
You're now done converting your file! Now you just need
to upload it to your iPod. You will need
iTunes®
version 6 or greater to complete the upload.
